Poems that affect our Nation

Love, After the Storm

             ~Of Katrina

A devastating rage, minds can’t comprehend

Transformed three different states

Flooding houses, families and friends.

Indirectly we are one

One nation under God

The effect it has on many

When aches overpowers the heart

The wrath of Katrina’s Storm

Cities and lives were lost.

Additional love is required

Because pain was the cost

A world wide connection

Brings hope to lost souls

Giving more of yourself

May stop tomorrow from being cold.

The aftermath of a storm

Is when reality take place

Releasing God’s love and support

Towards the future we must face.

Leaning to our own understanding

Is something we must not do

Have faith and truly believe,

~SURVIVORS ~

That God, has a purpose for you

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honour him.       Psalm 91:5

 ~ Gaye Hight

God Is Calling His People To Get Back On Their Knees.

Pulling together as one, as we face a dark hour,
Reconstructing our focus on D.C. and the Twin Towers.
People have lost their lives, for reasons unknown to man,
Disaster has struck our Nation,
Though we must continue to stand.
The President is our Leader,
Yet God is the Leader of us all.
Let's pray he seeks God's guidance
To prevent America from a fall.
Evil is in our midst, It has no intention of settling down,
We as a Nation will not welcome, nor embrace it's frown.
For many lives were spared-blessed are they
All would be destroyed, If evil had it's way.
The angry violent fires are the result of wicked deeds,
God is calling his people to get back on their knees.
